Film making can seem a costly business but, to maximise potential, a professionally produced, industry standard, product is essential.

 

We are aiming to source between £15,000 and £32,000 in order to create a piece we can be proud of and that we can use as a standalone short to showcase our potential to larger investors in the future. The future feature is currently estimated to come in at around £320'000. that of course is some way off.

 

Producing this short at £15,000 would be challenging and would necessitate some compromises with crew and talent but we have a robust plan in place and could do it.

 

Producing at £32,000 would provide a full complement of cast and crew and would provide a small pot for marketing and entry to prestigious film festivals.

 

Realistically we would hope to raise funding at a mid-point between those figures.

 

We have support from Ffilm Cymru and it is likely they will provide some funding but we will still need donations or small investments to achieve full funding.

Barrow Boy Productions have made substantial investments in state of the at camera, editing and associated kit and are providing that as payment in kind to the production.
